Don't see why not, I've seen 8" F10 spheres that produce "diffraction
limited" views, now not having tested them I can't say if they, as Dale
mentions, had a touch of correction polished in by "mistake" or not, but the
images were very good....

IIRC Tex mentions 8" F8 spherical as being good enough to leave
unparabolised, so going a tad longer on a small optic should be fine.

To all,  Can a 7 inch disk be formed to a sphere and polished at f/10 and
not be parobolized?..
And produce correct images to the eyepiece??   There are dispute's on this
