Hi,
   I am rejoining the list after a long hiatus.   I have a 12.5"  
Royce conical on order and am planning the dob structure.
Ease of assembly/breakdown are key so I am leaning towards a 6-pole  
vs. 8-pole truss.

Any advice or hidden traps I might think about?
