I have an ancient (1930's) book inherited from my father that describes how 
to make all kinds of photographic equipment, including bellows.  A few years 
ago, just for fun, I made a small paper and cardboard bellows following the 
instructions in this book. It ain't easy, but it works.

If you like (and if I can find the book) I will scan the relevant pages and
