            Some years ago a student and I put together a simple test
tunnel.  We needed a stable enclosure with controllable temperature
and minimal air currents for interferometry testing.  We bought some
insulating foam panels from Home Depot, cut them to size, and used 1
inch x 2 inch studs as reinforcement.  Heating was provided by a
string of evenly space 100 watt lightbulbs.  Cooling was by means of
freezer get paks and supplemented by a portable room size air
conditioner.  It wasn't ideal, buit it worked.
