Re: [ATM] Lasix and better viewing

<< I was wondering how much it improved your telescope viewing
experience. Obviously it's nice not to have to press your eye
glasses up to the focuser or tweek it every time you switch viewers,
but do the stars seem, I don't know, sharper? Less halos or those
lines that shoot off the sides >>

I have two friends who have had it done; neither is into astronomy.
Both love the results during the day, but they have varying degrees of
problems at night. One has spikes around all bright lights and doesn't
like driving after sunset or at night. The other only has problems
after twilight ends.

As someone mentioned in another note, I think it has to do with the
amount of correction they needed. Jean needed a lot of correction so
they got close to the center of her vision. As soon as her pupil begins
to dialate, she gets the effect. Dwayne only needed a a little bit of
correction so it was out at the edges.
