[ATM] Lasix and better viewing

Has anyone here had their eyes corrected with Lasix or a similar surgery?

I was wondering how much it improved your telescope viewing 
experience.  Obviously it's nice not to have to press your eye 
glasses up to the focuser or tweek it every time you switch viewers, 
but do the stars seem, I don't know, sharper?  Less halos or those 
lines that shoot off the sides (I forget what they are called)?
