Peter,
The simplest way is to take some weight off the bearings by
carrying some of it around the center bolt. Add washers and/or Teflon
slightly thicker than the rest of the bearings to cause the ground
board to flex a little. Adjust till you like the feel. Too thick and
the scope will start to feel bouncy.
