Reversing the direction of the decision can be done in one of two
ways.  First is to swap the reference and input to the comparator
section while the other is to just do an inversion of the output
of the comparator.
Doing a two stage is a matter of a second comparator to the input
signal with a different reference point.  The first one to be
triggered will turn on at low level and the second trigger will
just turn on to the high level of temp changing.
