I had been monitoring your mails regularly with a fervent prayer that you 
get the package but did not dare post for the fear of further damaging your 
chances of getting the package.
Such are the travesties of politics.
Now that you have got the package , I wish to point out that had you taken 
the Lahore - Delhi bus , you could have easily got a kit for making a six 
inch reflector, minus of course the tube , stand and eyepieces ,for  about 
Rs.5000/- Indian ( about US$ 100) . Whether  you would have been able to 
take it into Pakistan is still a moot point.
The situation in India was as bad a few years ago. One just could not get 
any thing thru customs without paying a hefty bribe but now with the 
relaxation in rules one can easily bring in items as personal baggage upto a 
limit of Rs 12000/-(US$250) without attacting the custons attention. Friends 
of mine have brought in mirrors upto 6 inches ,eyepieces ,focussers etc 
without  any problem.
Hope Saquib will also be able to do so soon . Also hope that very soon he 
and his friends will be able to establish local sources  for equivalent 
items so that they will not have to depend upon imports to sustain their 
hobby.
