[ATM] Off topic, Objects in the Sky

    To the list,   The objects in the sky described by the north eastern 
observers,  may have been
correct.   The peninsula of Florida had reports of a bright object entering 
the atmosphere and
with a glow, then to  split into 3 pieces, finally falling and fadeing 
out... This may have been
a Government satilite on it's last leg. or maybe the War of the Worlds movie 
is so close to release
  that a "little" promotion was at hand...... I think not,  Atmospheric 
Anomilies tend to explain
themselves to the experienced observer. When you see something comming 
through the "upper"
atmosphere ,  it will "glow" like a cinder... If it split's up, it is 
because of the heat.. If the "fall" is
consistent with gravity... something fell out of space.... If the glowing 
object's defy gravity...
   join a list of thousands that feel no-one believe's there story... 
Uncontrolled object's are "rocks"
  in space. From our view they look like rocks, act like rocks, and fall to 
earth as meteors. These can
be man made,  or have origins as space rocks from our own solar system.
     Remember when objects (or stars) start moving around,,, Find a friend 
for verification,,, Grab
  your camera (video works real good) Make sure you are not in the 
international runway path
  of you local airport..... You might have something... I'll bet that many 
on this list that have many
hours looking at the "dark" sky have "seen" moving "stars"     Russ Jocoy
