Surprisingly, if I use the focal surface set up by ZEMAX or OSLO,
the difference seems to disappear.  Perhaps ATMOS comes up with
the wrong solution -- the difference can be several microns.

In particular, what I saw when I looked at the wavefront map;
if I let ATMOS determine the focal surface, the Strehl ratio
was something like 0.04 or so; when I forced the ZEMAX focal
surface, the Strehl ratio was something like 0.95.
