Re: [ATM] Re: DAVE'S BACK! You scoundrel
Dan-
Thanks for your welcome back message, my good friend. Sure appreciate you
thinking of me and Theresa; of course, her disease only has one way to go,
no treatment, no cure. I'm okay except for a lot of pain; I have to give my
pain medicine to Theresa (no one has a right to a doctor in America).
Ask Frank sometime if he ever did anything with that beautiful set of
Classical Cassegrain 16" optics I gave to him; the mounting, the one on my
page about the traditional symmetrical equatorial mounting, got completely
destroyed; 3,500 hours' worth of junk (it's okay, Ken- I gave it to you with
no regrets; my health failed before I could mount the mirrors). I wonder if
Frank ever cobbled together something to use as a Cass; be a shame not to,
that beautiful 5.28" diameter secondar, with that beautiful ribbed sixteen
inch f/4 primary.
Take care of yourself, and we'll have a merry exchange on the list-
Dave
