RE: [ATM] Use of bearings in (static) mirror cells
Jerry from many of your posts you seem to be concerned
about the mirror dropping out of its cell. If you are
designing a dob then the Krieg and Berry Cell with the
three mirror keepers works just fine. They dont touch
the mirror but keep if from falling forward and out of
the cell when tilted past horizontal. They are like
mirror clips that don't touch the mirror.
A similar arrangement with proper lateral support will
also work for EQ type mounts I think.
