[ATM] invention of spectrohelioscope

Yes, he apparently did, according to several sources I
just looked up. Nobody ever mentioned this last summer
at Mount Wilson, even though we were using his
100-year-old spectrohelioscope or spectroheliograph
every day (and which still works fine)!

(A French scientist also independently discovered the
same principle. Also, Leon Foucault around 1860
figured out how to use the sun's light to illuminate a
microscope so that hundreds of students could see a
slide at the same time; this was the heliostat, whcih
invention was probably necessary so that Hale could
make his invention).
