That's exactly my question, too, Don.
The space telescope was named after Edwin Hubble; most of Edwin Hubbles's
discoveries were made at the Nasmyth or Cassegrain Focus of the 100". No
silicon there.... I will most definitely, go peruse your article, this
evening, maybe put in my two cent's worth-
