save for or use credit to get one that is good enough.

Ie, "good enough" is not dictated by financial concerns, but by
the laws of physics. Most people would accept 1/4 wave on the
*wavefront* as being a recognised minimum and that take 2 times
square root (2) * better than 1/4 wave, ie 1/11.3 wave at the
surface to achieve that for a 45 degree diagonal.
