The surface of the stuff isn't really that matte in finish so I'd suspect
that it isn't that antireflective. The stuff that I've gotten is a sort of
rubberized paint and, if you rub it as it is drying, will tend to be more
flat than if you don't touch it.
Personally I use the ultra flat black spray cans if I'm not using some flat
black latex paint that I've got. For small stuff, I use some model railroad
paint, -Floquil Engine Black - that is really a very flat black paint.
