But if you're going to use plastic baffles anyway, why not just make the
baffle out of a cheap (~$2) piece of (~2 x ~3 ft.) plastic 'screen' used
for ceiling-mounted fluorescent light fixtures?  Some types of these
sheets have an eggshell surface, that when painted with Krylon
ultra-flat black spray paint (the kind that sticks to multiple
surfaces), is nearly or equally as non-reflective as flocked paper.  You
can find these plastic sheets at any hardware store.  They are a bit
tricky to cut, but can be cut with scissors or a utility knife and the
edges sanded smooth.  The stuff is more flexible than it appears, and
can be attached to a truss tube using small pieces of wood epoxied to
the plastic.  I drilled holes in the wood pieces and attached them (&
the light baffle) to the truss tubes using small plastic cable ties,
which made it easy to fit the baffle to the non-parallel truss tubes.
