Peter's question about carbon fibre spider vanes got me thinking.

Can anyone recommend a source for materials (and instructions) needed
to make one's own carbon fibre tube?  I presume that the procedure
would be similar to making a fibreglass tube.

Does anyone make ready made CF tubes in large sizes suitable for
housing a 250mm mirror?
