The usage of teflon is more for the hand actuated Dob rather than a powered
one.  You need a certain low value of friction and low stiction to manually
move a Dob about and the teflon solution fits very well with this need.
The powered Dob doesn't need to have a low but not 0 level of friction so
the use of better bearings can be done without any problems.  In fact, with
the better bearings, the power needed for moving the Dob about is lessened
which will improve the ability of the power system to move the scope about.
