I am reconsidering the whole thing and may make the horseshoe out of
aluminum, I was considering wood just for weight reasons. Milling out the
aluminum will just take a little longer. I may still put a stainless band on
just to ensure a long wearing smooth surface. It's all in the early stages
of design.
