Hey Jerry...
Before you send that secondary off to be coated, do
you have a small spherical mirror? If you do, you can
set up to test the sphere with a Focault test then put
the secondary in the path and test again (after
turning the mirror 90*... should still look like a
sphere if the secondary doesn't change the wavefront.
You can ecen use the central portion of an aluminized
parabolic mirror for the test if you don't have a
small sphere available. What you see without the
secondary should be the same thing you see with the
secondary flat in the path.
