Final thickness kind of depends upon how well you can put a curve on the
glass without digging in at the thick part. If you do things right, you can
probably get away with 1mm decrease of material for each surface, most of
that in the final grits.
Glad to see that the numbers are a lot more like the "normal" results. I
use several different programs to verify that what I'm getting is really
valid and the several programs all produce almost identical results, the
differences being very little in the end.
