[ATM] Edging a Blank

Mike,

There is a simple way to edge a glass disk utilizing the turntable of 
your grinding machine and a cheap diamond disk from Harbor Freight or 
Home Depot mounted in an angle grinder. If you don't have an angle 
grinder, buy one and you'll never believe how you ever got along without 
one. With the glass disk attached to the turntable with pitch and 
spinning moderately, hand hold the angle grinder with diamond disk 
against the edge of the glass disk and it will soon be quite round. The 
diamond grinder rips off glass without creating much heat, unless you 
apply a lot of pressure. Be sure to wear an effective breathing mask 
unless you are immune to silicosis & lung cancer.
