ATM [history] Old periodicals on-line

I stumbled across the following and thought someone might find it interesting.
It looks like a joint project of Cornell and UMich has resulted in a digital
library of periodicals.  There is a keyword search engine and 
entering "telescope" generates 39 references to articles published in the mid- 
to late 1800's.  For example, the following is a link to an article by Lord 
Rosse that discusses his telescope and grinding machine:
