ATM Lookin' for some REALLY fast pads?

Are these suitable for optics?  Most likeley not! But then again...

At a trade show I saw a guy take a marble surface from ragged to mirror 
finish in ~1/2 hour with these things -- but the Zygo probably wasn't that 
great!  They're used with an electric grinder tool that squirts water in 
from the center.  Never tried 'em myself.
