ATM 14" Thin mirror Done!

Hi all,

Well It is done.  The last foucault tests last night averaged between 1/6
and 1/11 wave on tex wit an average of around 1/8 wave.  The previous star
testing and foucault test showed a raised 75-85% zone and the center being
just a tad under corrected.  So I decided to try and knock the 70% plus zone
down a bit more and lower the center.  Thankfully, the final trips around
the barrel actually did bring the center down and put the 70%+ zone down to
a more respectable level.  On final star test the images look good, but
there is just a tad a astigmatism.  Perhaps from the yet not quite perfect
mirror cell as well as from not being perfectly collimated.  :(  Well it is
not bad and really does not show on the focused star image at all.  On such
a thin mirror and a first one at that I am pretty happy.  Hopefully it will
be off to the coaters next week.  Thanks for all the help from everyone.
