Dude,  That just sucks on sooo many levels :(  My condolences.

However you do have a couple recovery options for that broken mirror.

How about trepanning it into a smaller diameter?

How about cutting it into a square, Hex, Octagon?

You could almost pretend its not broke and keep moving on, it should still
work acceptably...
