ATM 386 Notebook Computers SHIPPED. Sorry about delay.

FIRST, I would like to apologize for not being able to respond personally to
each message regarding computers.

I just came back from the Post Office and UPS.

I have finished sending out all the computers that I have checks for.  I
will be moving on to the next group and contacting those people.

This will likely be the last group that I contact for these computers.

This current shipment should have gone out more than a week ago, but because
of the virus that was discovered, I decided to stop all the computers that
hadn't left, unpacked them and removed the virus.

Since the virus affected the Master Boot record, all drives had to get a new
MBR, be fdisk'd and reformatted and rebuilt.  This took me a while.

Sorry about the delay, but the kids couldn't do this, so I had to do it as I
had time.

There was quite a few computers in this shipment.

Once again, I didn't deposit any checks until I was ready to send the
machines.

I will be taking a break from sending computers for a week or so.  So please
don't panic because you thought you should have been contacted but didn't
get an e-mail.

There ARE still computers left.  I will be contacting those next in line,
but I will hold off for a week or so for a break.

If you contact me about a computer, I will add you to my waiting list, but I
haven't come across any more notebook computers (just onesy twosy stuff).

I promise that I didn't lose any names.  I have as many as 4 or 5 messages
from some people.  I don't lose any messages so please don't send more, it
just confuses me.

PLEASE don't send money if I haven't contacted you.  It is not fair to the
others who replied first.

ALSO, YOU MUST BE A LIST MEMBER TO GET A COMPUTER.  If you are not a member
of the list, please don't ask for a computer.

This effort is to help the list and its members ONLY.  It is not for profit
and it is pretty exhausting work.

Again, sorry about the delay, but I didn't want to ship anymore viri.

If I am able to find more computers and you would be interested in helping
the group out by shipping them to individual list members, PLEASE contact
me.  I would really appreciate the help.  Please remember, you would be
donating your time - there is no pay.

If you sent a check but don't get your computer within a week, let me know
and I will provide you with a tracking number if shipped by UPS.

All foreign orders go out via Post Office as do shipments to Post Office
boxes.
