             I just finished an engineering degree, Computer Systems.
My parents both
have PhDs in english, and my Dad, a professor, teaches ''Critical
Thinking'' - a class that
tears apart every bit of specualtion on earth .. from 'Roswell' to
'Jesus'.

     Americans, compared to other cultures, are lazy, and also very weak
of spirit..
one person is afraid to sound smart so as not to offend the other.. to
keep
competittion at a minimum.  Dont be a lazy American.  IMO, real
scientists hold
themselves to be in the top 1% of all of society not in just science,
but in everything
they do.  One can never be 'perfect', but to approach perfection one
must strive
for it.  To seperate ourselves from the dumb cow-eyed americans we must
first
make sense, next we must avoid alcohol and sugar _.. guess why Americans
are so dumb ?
....its not the water..... alcohol, sugar, and TV.  Keep TV to less than
15 minutes / day on ave.
If we were'nt so weak for silly pleasures, we wouldnt be so pitifully
dumb as a country...
....we'd even have public health care, for example.

     Above all.  Trust your imagination.  There is no real science
except that which comes
from the mind which doubts every truth, until proven.  and no real
science from
any thinking which does not include imagination as much as knowledge.

     Make friends with Russians,  Chinese,  Gremans, French, in that
order ... Americans
 you can be among them.. but you cannot be __with__ them.  Our culture
is pitifully thin,
 but still there are great people here if you dig... I just find that
foreigners generally at
least have a proverbial 'clue',  and Americans, as nice as some may
seem, really never will.

    Believe in yourself, don't listen to me,  don't  follow anyone ...
first not  the rule of law, and
second not romantic folly.  Perhaps I'm begging you, America needs one
less stupid American,
and it is a matter of personal choice... choosing smart means making a
little effort...and not making
excuses for dumb behavior like drunk driving or abusing your spouse.

    You'll have to excuse me,  I know full well that the odds,
statisitcally, are quite thin that
you are not a born and bred dumb american,  but nonetheless I have held
faith in you
enough to give you my best in this regard..   The  very fact that I even
try is one thing that
makes me different from the average pitiful american.

Don't even think about denying you sent this to me Geoff, I will
gladly send the original email complete with header to anyone who
wants the so called 'scientific' proof.

I never mentioned any specifics to the list in my last post, but
you decided to defend your actions by pronouncing me a liar.
I wouldn't normally post a personal email to the list, but
I am not going to give any respect to someone who repeatedly
shows me none.

I feel I have the right to defend myself when I am singled out
by you on the list, if I am wrong about this or my interpretation
of your emails to me then I will gladly leave this list.

In fact I think I'll quit anyway, I'm not going to listen to
this any longer. Thanks to all the great people on this list
who share their knowledge and experience so freely. I'm sure
I'll still visit your websites and get great inspiration from
them.
