ATM 1/4" thick too thin for 4.5" mirror?

I have a glass circle 4.5" diameter 1/4" thick from glass that was
easy to break cleanly with a scoring tool and a hammer. Is it too
thin for a suitable mirror?

I also have some thinner glass about 3/32" thick from a display
cabinet in a store. Would it make a suitable 4.5" tool?
