Hi Bob;
         Two thoughts come to mind:
         1) So, is like your mirror now polished out to 1/10,000 thousandth 
wave?    If so, you could probally make a lot of money on Ebay with it.  :)
         (Sorry, it was just too tempting)
         2) On a more serious note, at least you didn't drop or chip your 
blank,  or accidently get some #80 grit on the surface while 
polishing.  Sounds lieka  good mirror you will have.
