I use a large picnic cooler also, coleman type for my 8".  Itworks really
nicely.  My question is : Is it recommended to put in some ice packs on very
hot days when leaving the scope in the heat is unavoidable?  I am talking
about the selfcontained plastic packs that you can reuse in the freezer.
Would this pack affect the telescope in any way?  Obviously the condensation
from it would be a consideration, but is there anyproblem wiht uneven cooling,
or anything?
