I may have an opportunity to get my hands on a 6" f/4 Telescope Engineering
Company Maksutov-Cassegrain (or Maksutov-Newtonian)..  Does anyone have any
expereience with such a OTA?  What mount should I use? What is such a
scope's suitability for deep sky work? Would I be better off replacing my
Fork mount on the C8 with A GEM, than moving into this configuration?
