Todd Gross has gotten some very good images of Jupiter with his
MX-5? color CCD camera. In fact they come close to some of D. Parker's
tri-color CCD images. They can be found from links at his home page
at http://www.weatherman.com

Planetary images are as of now where CCD's really outdo film. Still being
somewhat of
a novice I will pose a question: Is this because CCD's have better
resolution, or is it
because many images can be acquired and checked in real-time to get that
one great
image when seeing was at the moment perfect?
