Nice work. I hope to get something myself on this new moon phase now that
SBIG has finished the warranty repair of my ST-4's dorked up clock chips.
Field trials on the living room floor tentatively indicate normal behavior
in all modes. As for the question of field rotation in the Wolf's Skull
photo, this is just a guess off the top of my head but one thing I have
observed with my standard Meade wedge is that on occasion, and usually
unexpectedly, I'll find a lock screw loosened and because of this, the polar
alignment will slip from its optimum position. The short version of this is
"make sure all the screws are tight". Worth looking into since it's easy to
check up on...
