Chris,

IMO this topic *is* in continuous discussion. I remember an extensive
thread at Christmas 1997 with exactly the same subject ... just a
question mark was added there.

Nevertheless I share your appreciation for all contributions. I believe
that just because we reconsider the motivation for our work
continuously, we never have to be afraid to lose the macic of this
wonderful hobby.

And contributions like Chuck's and Robin's prove that our understanding
for the meaning of our activities really advances.
