How is focus calibration done? >>
Snip
My Taurus Tracker III was very easy to calibrate the focus on.
First of all its not really a flip mirror. The mirror along with the tube
that the focusing eyepiece set in slip up to get out of the way of the light
path of the camera but it does the same thing.
I first did focus calibration in the daylight and this got it very close. I
then did a star and lunar focus calibration followed by a few pictures to test
my calibration and it was much better focus than I have ever done using just
the screen in my OM1 and the 3X eyepiece in my 90 degree viewfinder adapter.
I am very impressed with its focus ability and it comes with great
instructions in a very nice binder.
