You probably can't get an extreme enlargement, but apart from that,
"do-it-yourself machines" are, in my opinion, THE way to make color
prints of astrophotos.  Machines such as the Kodak Create-A-Print work
by digitizing your negative or slide, then processing it by computer
and outputting it by dye sublimation.

As a result, you can make adjustments that are impossible with conventional
color printing -- raising the contrast is the most obvious one.

I'm convinced that digital technology is the *right* way to make color
enlargements.  Having abused three emulsion layers already while taking
the picture, you don't want to have to try to make three more emulsion
layers match up with them!  :)
