We had patchy cloud during the eclipse in North Wales. It had been raining
earlier in the evening, and I was surprised (and pleased) to see the sky
clear. Bands of clouds kept rolling in during the eclipse, but there were
enough clear gaps for me to get some photos taken. Two of these are on my
home page (at www.personel.u-net.com/~mjd/eclipse.htm)
This was my first attempt at photographing an eclipse, and I was surprised
how good the results were. I shot two rolls of film, using two different
camera bodies, just to make sure I got some results!
