Gary: there are 3 big things to do re the ST4 ---
1) Focus --- I use an IFocus from Software Bisque.
2) center the star ... I just try to center it in the IFocus
3) pick calibration times for the axes ... you need to know what the minimum
amount of time you need to run the drive in each direction to record a
noticeable change on the chip. With my setup, with the 80mm AP guidescope,
and my 800 mount, I run 15-20 seconds.

I'd say that focusing WAS the biggest problem, but IFocus ends that !
