It happens on brand new fixer as well as older. I don't keep it for more
than month and I don't fix more than 3 short film strips in 16 oz.
It sounds like it's time to try diluting the fixer. There's not much else
left.
BTW, I ran a photographic test in the backyard last night after re-collimating
the Ritchey. I shot a 60 minute exposure on TP and developed it in HC-110
Dil. F so it wouldn't be totally sky fogged. I used my regular fixer and
it still had a pin hole. Definitely time to change the fixer.
