[APML]: Elite II 100-Great stuff

Hi all,

I'd like to thank Michael Covington for recomending that Elite II 100. Great
stuff. A fellow astrphotographer who has used many different slide films is
also switching over after seeing the results.

>From Arizona I got several shots of Hale-Bopp with the a 440mm fl f/2.8
astrograph. JETS! There are dust kinda jets comin out of the thing! Even at
that small image scale. I shot the Cocoon and all of the dark lane, 20
minutes at f/2.8 is probably ideal having I shot 10, 30 and 40 min. Longer
exposures where a little too fogged I'd say. The film has an overal greenish
cast but not too much. The film recorded a tiny blood red planetary just
insdie the edge of the frame that turned out to be a PK planetary 32 arc
seconds dia. It recorded as a discernable disk, unlike the stars.

Also, Comet Tabur promises to be a little Hyakutake. It was very bright in
10x70's from AZ.
