John,

I have a Meade 10"SCT and also bought the 6.3 reducer and got severe 
vignetting.  The only solution was to buy a Lumicon Giant Easy Guider.  
It has a much larger opening and solves the vignetting problem.  
Unfortunately, it ain't cheap!
