SBIG is working on the AO system that Benoit and I thought up and created...
they hope to have it on the market by early '97 ... it works with the ST-7
type system as it needs to find a guidestar very close to the imaging
field ...

we have not yet tried to rig up a way to use film with this system ...
too much learning to do to see what its limits and advantages are ...
but we do want to try that ...  and if it works ( there are PROBLEMS )
we'll go back and bug SBIG about making a film useable system ...

we shall see ....
