Hi Brian
You need to open a dos window (I installed ABE in the directory that had
my images) and then from dos change directories till you are at the one
with ABE.
The you call ABE and list the input file name followed by the filename
for the output file.
ie: ABE cygnus.tif cyg_abe.tif
Keep in mind that with win98 you still have to follow the old dos 8.3
rule where the first part of the file name can be no more than 8
characters, which is why when you do a dir to see what is in the
directory you will see something like
cygnus~1.tif instead of cygnus_hires_mod.tif.
The output file will be the background that you must subtract from the
original image with pixinsight.
