Gary, compensating for the LPS filter has
caused quite a color balance shift, and when you combine that with the light
pollution that is still present, when you equalize the background to look
neutral, the nebs went yellowish. The milkyway also has a very flat look,
due to applying too much of a gamma curve to data that is very low in
contrast. Id like to see an image of the raw scan if you could to help you
furthur.
