Re: [APML] Couple of images

Radek - those are great shots! My favourite is the Veil followed by The Bubble. Both to my mind are excellent! The Crescent is an odd colour and maybe a bit over processed. Maybe.

More proof that the DSLR has a role to play in AP!

Subject: [APML] Couple of images

Hello,

as some of you started to post nice images from CCD and digital cameras on this forum I would also like to contribute with some images here.

Here are the links to some:

NGC 7635 - Bubble nebula (1280x855px, 1,2 MB)

NGC 6992 - Veil nebula (1280x855px, 750 kB)

NGC 6888 - Crescent nebula (1280x855px, 750 kB)

Exposure details of all are basically same except Bubble nebula where I tried longer exposure than 10 mins for the first time, so its 8x12 min.

Dets:

APO triplet refractor TMB 115/805 with dualspeed 3,5" Feather Touch focuser
Taken at F/5.6 with Televue 0.8x FF
Canon EOS 300D modified
UV/IR Baader blocking filter
EQ-6 mount modified, Powerflex MTS-3SDI electronics
guided through Celestron 80/900 and webcam
8x10 min, 800 ASA

Thanks for looking
Radek Kyml
