John, those are outstanding images, Canon should pay
you for advertising. I am a bit queasy on the color
of nebula with this new camera. I have a 10d and I
get the awful purple color on emission nebula. Your
20da shots are much closer, I do like the pink color,
but I sense a touch of that wierd purple in those
images as well. But unlike the Andromeda galaxy shot,
emission nebs with this camera are at the very edge of
the blocking filters passband and we may experience
less pure red Ha than normal still. The Huetech
modified cameras with their better engineered blocking
filters yield a pure deep reddish pink. But then
again they dont have all the really nice features the
20da has for focusing and such. The jury is still out
I think on this one...

I really like the 20Da performance but it is a
little more noisy that I
was hopping for but still better than the 10D. All
