Yes, always keep a log that details all the info for each shot. While
mine is not very extensive, it does tell me when I started the shot,
length, lens, date, exposure #, sky conditions and guide settings on
the ST-4. Also I'll note any unusual conditions such as clouds moving
through the area, etc.. At the top of the sheet, I note the film yused
and # of exposures on the roll. Sometimes I forget if what's in the
camera has 24 or 35 exposures, and this comes in handy. I then keep the
sheet in the developed film packet when it goes into storage.
